富士市の魅力のひとつである「富士山の眺望が美しい町」をテーマに掲げ、富士市を訪れた人に対しては観光の一環として企画の認知度を高め、

富士市に在住している人には、富士市の魅力を再発見できるような企画・情報を富士市の中心から発信していきたいという富士市役所からの依頼を受けたところからこのプロジェクトは始まった。

ビューポイントの説明・サンプル写真・周辺マップなどを記載した看板の設置に合わせ、様々な案を出した中で「地図の上に刺して目的地を目指すピン」をイメージした巨大なピンのオブジェクトの案が採用された。

富士市を舞台として具現化されたこの巨大なピンは、ガイドマップとの関連性をもたせ、企画としての統一性やオブジェクトとしてのおもしろさ・話題性も考慮したデザインとなった。

This huge pin embodied as a setting in Fuji City has a relation with the guide map, it was designed considering the unity as a project and the interest and topicality as an object.
